El Cokimba Group's story

Rosa is a single woman, 47 years old. She and her children struggle shoulder to shoulder to improve their living conditions. She manages a business making enchiladas, tortillas, and ground coffee. With the previous loan, with Kiva funds, she managed to purchase a tricycle with the earnings.

She asks for another loan from Fundenuse, the second with Kiva funds, which she will use to purchase flour, corn, sugar, coffee, rice, oil, and various products to make the products she sells.

In her free time, generally Sunday afternoons, she goes to the village church. Her goal is to open another business and to hire more people because currently she only has one other salesperson.

The group El Cokimba is made up of three members, Rosa, Lidia, who has a business making and selling tortillas and ground coffee, and Heydi, the owner of a store.
