Casita De Azucar Group's story

The communal bank "Casita de Azucar" [Little House of Sugar] is part of Agencia Jatun Songo. It is composed of eight members who know each other. It is led by a board of directors where Señora Silvia is the president.

Señora Silvia, age 37, is married and has two children. She now has an economic activity of selling cakes. She learned this trade by working in a bakery.

The loan that she will take out now will be to increase her capital to buy supplies such as flour, leavening, cornstarch, colorings, creams, milks, etc. in quantities. This way, she will have good earnings and won't buy by the kilo. After making and selling [the cakes], she will also buy an industrial oven for baking these cakes.

This form of work allows her to earn resources to support her family economically. Her aspiration is to make her business grow and have a big business of selling cakes.

Silvia asks you to have confidence in her communal bank.
