Philbert's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chickens and fodder to make sure they are well fed.

Philbert's story

Philbert is 47 years old, married, and has four children in his care. He rents an apartment in a neighborhood not far from downtown. He has invested in chicken raising and has been engaged in this activity for over ten years. His partner runs a food stand to help cover the family's daily living expenses.

Philbert joined Vahatra to request loans. He was able to expand his business using the profits from his last loan. Now, he needs another loan to increase his profits and the number of chickens he can fatten. He is requesting support from lenders to buy chickens and the necessary fodder to make sure they are well fed. He will resell his chickens once they are grown and buy new ones to raise. He also plans to build up his savings so he can construct a home for his family.
