Sopha's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to build a household latrine.

Sopha's story

Sopha, 38, is married and blessed with three children. She assists her husband with managing a selling business to earn to living. She has a small grocery store at her own house selling more grocery products and beverages according to the customer's needs. Together, they are able to earn an income of $10 per day to meet their daily needs.

The family doesn’t have a safe latrine, so Sopha is asking for a loan of KHR 8,000,000 to build a household latrine. A household latrine will enable her to promote good health and improve the family's living conditions. With this loan support, she will have enough money to expense the household latrine construction.

In the future, she aims to renovate her old house, expand her selling business by buying more goods for selling, and push her children to continue studying at university.

Thanks to the water loan program offered by Hattha Kaksekar Limited at a special rate, Sopha has been encouraged to focus on ensuring healthy living conditions to safeguard the health of her family and protect the environment.
