09_Diambougoum Santhiaba2 Group's story

This group is composed of five members and was established in 2016. The members are experienced in their respective businesses and share a lot of solidarity. They live in the same neighborhood. Running small stores is their main business. Ndeye Absa, standing on the right in the photo with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is 59, a widow and has 12 children, one of whom is 16. The client works in poultry farming. She plans to buy chicks that she'll rear. Once grown, they will be sold on to her customers. The rest of the loan will be used to finance her food business and buy feed for fattening sheep and goats so they can be sold on. The profits will allow her to expand her business.
