This group comprises 30 women who share strong bonds of solidarity and social support. They live in the same village and seized the opportunity to join the banc villageois when it was established in the region December 2017. Their main activity is small business.

Ms. Awa (standing at the far right of the photo, with her hand raised), is the group representative. She is 32 years old, married, and the mother of four children. She has a small business in natural juices and ices. She has experience in this business, having practiced it for many years.

With her new loan she intends to buy hibiscus flowers, baobab fruit, and sugar to transform them into juice to sell in her village.

With the profits, she plans to build up her savings, take care of the needs of her children, and help her husband with daily expenses.
