La Libertad Group's story

Domitila is 44 years old and belongs to the communal bank "La Libertad" formed by 9 members and directed by her. They consider themselves a responsible group and have great wishes to continue working to improve their families' future.
Domitila considers herself a hardworking person who struggles to move her children ahead. She has 3 small chillaren for whom she works hard to improve their quality of life and education.
For more than 15 years she has worked in agriculture. She harvests cacao and sells fruits as a street vendor. Domitila's dream is to have a business, to have a little store so that she does not have to go out in the streets, walking with so much sun, rain and accidents that happen in the streets, and to be able to sell her products retail and wholesale in her little store.
This is why she works hard to improve her quality of life and specially her children's. Currently, she is requesting a loan to maintain her cacao harvest so that her product is adequate to satisfy her customers.
