01_Mbolotk Group's story

This group of fourteen women belongs to this [Banc Villageois], established in September 2012. These women live in the same neighborhood and get along very well. They run a small business. They have successfully reimbursed 10 loans.

Mrs. Ndéye Coumba, the representative, is 46 years old. She is standing on the right hand side, with her hand raised. She is married and mother of seven children. Three of them are girls and four are boys. They all go to school.

Ndéye Coumba runs a small business selling fish which she purchases and resells in the market. She benefits from over 15 years of experience in this sector. She plans to use this loan to purchase 10 kilos of dried fish which she will resell with a profit margin. She has loyal customers because she sells good products.

Her profits allow her to increase her savings and to take care of her children's tuition and food costs.
