Sikira's story

Sikira lives and works in the busy town of Hohoe. She is married and has 1 child, who is in school.
Sikira knows that for her child to have a great education and opportunities in life, she needs to work hard at her business. For the past 25 years, she trades in cereals (maize, beans, sorghum, millet, etc) as well as selling cassava dough. One of her biggest challenges is inadequate capital to buy in large quantities to enjoy the economy of scale. She wants to use this loan to purchase in larger quantities when she goes for supplies. Her goal is to not only keep her current clients but to grow to become a bigger wholesaler of cereals.
Sikira knows that by working to grow her business, she will help ensure many opportunities for her child’s and family’s future.
She says thank you for your support.
