A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Kayir's story

Kayir, 55, is married and has two children. She has high school education. She is a very hard-working, goal-oriented and enterprising woman by nature. She knows the technology of running a farming business and is able to allocate resources appropriately.

As a main source of income for her family, Kayir has been engaged in animal husbandry since 2004. Thanks to Kayir's relentless work and responsible approach to business, she managed to bring her farm's livestock headcount up to four cows, 50 sheep and sevel horses. She also owns a plot of irrigated land measured 1.44 hectares where she grows alfalfa.

To further develop her farming business, Kayir applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows, with the goal of increasing her income from organic milk sales and cattle breeding. Kayir plans to reinvest the profits from the loan into further development of her farm.
