01_Kiwi Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to fatten sheep and buy secondhand clothing to resell.

01_Kiwi Group's story

This group made up of 15 women comes from the banc villageois that was established in the area in December 2001. They live in the same village and have good neighbourly relations and solidarity. Their main businesses are agriculture and trade.

Thiathie, the representative, is 76 years old. She is on the far right in the photo with her arm raised. She is a widow and mother of eight children who are all of age.

Brave Thiathie runs a sheep fattening business. She buys and sells her sheep in her village. She capitalizes on a good experience of nearly 20 years. At the same time, she sells secondhand clothing.

With this new loan, she will purchase one bale of secondhand clothes and one sheep. She will fatten the sheep over the course of three to four months, then sell it at a beneficial price. She sells her products well.

Thiathie plans to increase her savings and grow her business with the profits.
