A loan helped to farm poultry and buy peanuts to resell.

01_Mbourouwaille Group's story

This group of five brave women comes from the banc villageois that has existed since September 2013. They have walked together for a long time because they live in the same village and share strong values of kinship and solidarity.

Binta, 58 years old, is the representative. She is on the far right and raising her hand. She is a widow and mother of eight children, one of whom is still in school. She is dynamic and progresses in her work in order to offer her children better living conditions.

Binta sells peanuts and oil. She buys wholesale and resells in small quantities in her area. At the same time, she practices poultry farming. She is successful in these two sectors where she has been working for more than 10 years.

She plans to purchase two barrels of peanuts, 100 chicks, and bags of poultry feed, and to pay for vaccines. She will resell her products and chickens, hoping for considerable gains.

The profits obtained will serve to increase her savings level, to take charge of her daughter's education, and to grow her business.
