Lamona's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy mulberry for her tapa making and hire men for harvesting their kava plantation.

Lamona's story

Lamona is 58 years old. She is a mother of three and a wife of a farmer. They live at their own home.

Lamona and her husband runs a business of tapa making and growing kava. She joins a group of women in their village, and together they make tapas, but only once in a week. Lamona prepares her tapas before selling, making sure each is perfect.

For their kava business, they grow their kava in their own plantation and sell it from their home.

Her tapa business has been running for more than twenty years now, and her kava business was started five years ago, and already their family benefits from it.

She is hoping to sue her loan money to buy mulberry for her tapa business and also hire more men to help her husband with the harvesting of their kava.
