Primavera Azul Group's story

Melva, 52, is a single mother with 5 grown children. She has worked selling new clothing and cosmetics door-to-door for 10 years. She has children who have been living abroad for more than 6 years who have been helping her financially with monthly remittances to help with her everyday expenses.

Melva is requesting a loan from Fundenuse and Kiva to invest in working capital for her business, because it's in her interest to improve her business by offering more products for sale. This way, she can generate more income.

Melva is working with her communal bank, called "Primavera Azul," which also includes Lucia and Angela. Her next goal is to build a basin in her house for water storage, and in the future, she wants to sell a solar system that she bought 3 years ago and build a house on a parcel of land that she owns.
