07Kl1-Ngoulang Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chicks and raise them to be laying hens.

07Kl1-Ngoulang Group's story

This group includes seven women. It was created in 2011. They live in the same neighborhood. They raise poultry. They maintain good social relationships and are united. Madame Sokhna, on the right of the photo with her hand raised, is the group’s representative. She is 36 years old, married, and has five children, one of whom is a girl. Her main activity is raising poultry. She buys her chicks at the market in the capital. She raises them for 45 days and sells the chicken during religious ceremonies and holidays.

She will use this loan to buy chicks and raise them to be laying hens. She will use the profits she will generate to help her husband pay for their children’s schooling and to strengthen her business.
