To provide an additional source of income for her family, Almakan has been engaged in animal husbandry and crop farming since 1990. Thanks to Almakan's relentless work and her spouse's help, there are 16 cows, 40 sheep and five horses on her farm. She also owns a plot of land measured 1.97 hectares where she grows alfalfa.

To further develop her farming business, Almakan applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy alfalfa seeds, with the goal of increasing her income from a good harvest of alfalfa. Almakan plans to reinvest the profits from the loan into further expansion of her farm and make savings for consturction of a new house.
