Mariya's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cattle, which will increase her cattle-rearing income.

Mariya's story

The 59-year-old Mariya is married with two children. Kind and outgoing by nature, she has a secondary education and has been raising livestock and growing crops for 35 years. This is her family's main source of income. Thanks to Mariya's hard work and her husband's help, her farm presently consists of five cows, five sheep, and a 2.76-hectare plot of land on which she grows alfalfa and barley.

In order to develop her business further, Mariya has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS), to buy cattle and thus increase her cattle-rearing income. Mariya is planning to put the income generated by the loan into expanding her farm.
