Mary's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay tuition fees for her children who are reporting to school this month.

Mary's story

Mary is a 47-year-old mother of four children living in Kerugoya, a town surrounded by prime agricultural lands which favor large-scale grain farming, dairy and horticultural farming. She is very passionate, hardworking and eager to learn and accept new challenges. These qualities have propelled her to become one of the most respected farmers in her village.

She sells milk, bananas, poultry, maize and vegetables produced on her farm. Of all the activities in which she is involved, dairy farming is closest to her heart. She enjoys waking up every morning to go and milk her cows and feed them with fodder that has high nutrient value. She is so keen and close to her cows that she has named them, which makes Mary very proud and fulfilled.

Mary is seeking an education loan to pay school fees for her children. She believes that the knowledge and skills her children will get from school will help them have a brighter future.
