Palacio Del Rey Group's story

These are the women from the "Palacio del Rey" (King's Palace), a Pro Mujer village bank in the Hular community in Matagalpa, who depend on loans to be financially independent. Dora Isabel (third women pictured from the left) is 28 years old and is a true example of achieving personal growth. She lives in a common-law marriage with Bayardo and has an 8 year old son, little Kevin, who attends primary school in the third grade. With this loan, she will buy construction materials to repair part of her store as well as 200 pounds of beans, 200 pounds of corn, 60 pounds of chicken and chicken feed for her business. With these earnings and her good money management skills, she is sure she will be able to provide better food and education to her son. Please support women like Dora who are determined, enthusiastic and need economic support to reach their full potential.
