Mujeres De Valor Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy several feet of fabric, wood and ingredients to make tamales.

Mujeres De Valor Group's story

The "Mujeres de Valor" (Women of values) group lives in the community of Santa Carmela in Jinotega and is made up of 6 women and 3 men who were allowed to join the group to help their businesses grow. Maria Elda (in the middle of the photo with a violet skirt) is 40 years old and is married to Juan who is a security guard and a farmer in his free time. For a long time now, Maria Elda works unrelentingly on her sewing machine to design and manufacture clothes. Her main ambition is to sew. She needs a loan to buy several feet of fabric, wood as well as as ingredients to make nacatamales (tamales from Nicaragua) that she will prepare and sell on the weekends. She is a woman of many talents and doesn't miss on any opportunity to do business. Powerful women like Elda need economic support to achieve their personal growth. Support her!
