Benkadi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy animals for resale so as to pay for his children's education.

Benkadi Group's story

Alou, 38, is the one with his hand on the ram in the photo. He is married and a father of five children aged from 2 to 13 years, of whom three go to school. Alou himself did not get a chance to go to school, but he is worried about the education of his children. His wife is a homemaker.

Alou breeds cattle and sheep. He stocks up and sells his animals in the weekly fairs in his area. After sales, he might earn 50,000 CFA in profits which vary according to the sales turnover. He has been in this work for 8 years. His income lets him take care of the medical, living and education fees of his children.

Alou loves this work as it is beneficial for him. However, often he has to take on risks in this line of work such as the animals dying despite the veterinary care, and the falling price of animals in the market.

He is counting on the RMCR loan to improve his business and change the living conditions of his family.
