but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to be able to get more varied cereals.

Las Chispitas Rb Group's story

The “Las Chispitas” communal bank, as part of the Agencia San Miguel, is made up of eleven members, all of whom are friends and neighbors from the same neighborhood. It is lead by a board of directors, of which Emma is President. The Treasurer is Maribel, and Flora is Secretary.

Flora is a domestic partner. She has four children. She has a business selling grains. At this point she has had this business for three years.

She will invest the loan that she took out in her business, to be able to get more varied grains. In this way she can help her children financially in order to get them ahead in their studies. All of them are minors and are in school. They are her reason to keep fighting and moving forward day by day.

Her dream and goal is to get her children to become professionals and that her children wouldn’t suffer from discrimination or violence in this society. This is because she doesn't have her own house, and she lives in a rental. Many times the owners of houses won’t rent to her family because of our small children. Because of this, her goal and dream is also to have her own little house and little store; having a stall in the street is very demanding.
