Gloria Maricela's story
Gloria, a poor woman from the country, is hardworking and dedicated to her family. She is the mother of four children who are still dependent on her and are studying in a public institution. Her home is in the community of San Francisco del Playón. She is a day laborer and also raising farm animals. In this way, she is able to support her children. Gloria began raising pigs with a breeding pig she bought with savings she had. Since then, she continued this work to obtain more income for her home. Gloria wants to improve this business through a request for her first loan with which she intends to buy pigs, whey, potatoes and balanced feed. In this way she aspires to have a pig farm with more animals and therefore a way to better support her family.
