Julissa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her small yam & cassava plantation and fix her truck to transport produce.

Julissa's story

Meet Julissa!
Julissa is a hard-working agricultural entrepreneur who lives in the roadside community of El Tirao in East Panama. She has dedicated her life to agriculture. Her main produce are yam and cassava which she's been planting for over 10 years. Thanks to agriculture she has raised her children and provided for her family.

With this loan, she aims to buy the necessary materials to plant yam and cassava as she has identified that the demand for these two agricultural products is growing and her family has decades of experience in agriculture. Also, she is planning to fix her small pick-up truck that transports the produce to the nearest agricultural trading center.

She has good references in the community and is known for her responsibility and active role in the community.

Julissa's goal is, through entrepreneurship, to provide a better life quality and future for herself and her family.

Thanks for contributing to Julissa's first loan and empowering her to pursue her goals!
