Odette's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more fabric for her tailoring business.

Odette's story

Odette is a committed and dedicated mother. She is also an entrepreneur. As a refugee from Congo, Odette came to Rwanda with no hope of going back home. She decided to use her few savings from a previous business to start a grocery store. The grocery store helped her provide for her family and she was able to pay for home expenses.

The previous loan helped her open a tailoring business where she saw an opportunity for growth. The business has generated income and she has also created four jobs for fellow refugees in the camp. Odette is more than motivated and willing to make sure that her two businesses grow to become the best in the camp.

She is requesting another loan to help her purchase fabrics for her tailoring business so that she is able to provide quality and quantity to her growing customer base. She wants to contribute to the education of her children by taking them to the best schools.
