Mrs. Aïssatou runs a business retailing cereal grains and various foodstuffs (vegetables, oil, flavoring, etc.). She purchases her supplies at the market and sells them from her home. She benefits from more than seven years of experience in this business.

Mrs. Aïssatou is going to purchase millet, vegetables, and oil that she will sell at reasonable prices. She has a good customer base and does well. Her profits will increase her savings with the banc villageois, as well as allow her to contribute to her children's school fees and to the family's day-to-day expenses.
