The oldest daughters are married, youngest daughter is at home, son finished school and currently attends a university, and the youngest goes to school. The client is involved in animal husbandry, fattening and breeding cattle, and also sells dairy products. She has a dairy cow at home. The client was previously involved in agriculture, and having gotten a good income from onions she grew, she bought a pregnant cow. Now, she will purchase a cow for breeding. Mendayim is 49 years old. She is married, and her husband is a member of an agricultural collective. She has three sons. The oldest sons work in Russia, and the youngest goes to school. Mendayim is involved in sales, specifically retail sales of food products. Previously, the client was involved in agriculture, but her neighbor suggested opening a small store near home in 1999 in order to have a supplemental income. She plans to use the loan to expand the variety of products that she sells. Salamat is 55 years old. She is a mother of 3 children. The client has a retail outlet near her home that has a turnover of about 250 dollars. Her husband is a private driver, whose monthly salary is 100 dollars.
