A loan helped Cattle Feed.

Wilma's story

Wilma is married and has three children. She is 41 years old and has an elementary school education. She and her husband live in the Itocta zone in the Cercado province within the Cochabamba department. Wilma and her husband have dairy cows and deliver their entire production to a milk company within their zone, for later pickup by Pil Andina. They live in modest conditions. Her home includes the basic services and they raise their livestock on the same property. Wilma is very dedicated to her work. She, her husband, and children rise very early each day to milk the cows and spend the rest of the day caring for them. She is asking for this loan in order to buy feed, because the price goes up considerably over the winter. By doing this, she will be able to maintain her income at the current level. He hopes that her children will be able to obtain college educations and become successful professionals.
