Mary's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy hybrid seeds and good fertilizers, so an enterprising mom can increase her crop production and use the increased profits from the crops to improve her life.

Mary's story

The world is preparing to celebrate women and Mary (a repeat-borrower and mother of four children) cannot be left behind. Mary is an enterprising and inspiring small-scale farmer who hails from the Molo, a land of unending beauty. Mary takes care of both her household and her farming business. Her goat and sheep produce wool and goat milk that she sells to her neighbors. She also plants crops in her small farm, mainly for domestic consumption in a move to counter rising food prices.

Mary wants to utilize her entire farm by planting more crops for commercial purposes. She wants to plant maize and vegetables in a rotational program that she learned in a farmers' training session. She believes that she will be able to increase her profit and get more income to provide for her family. Mary has applied for this loan, so she can buy fertilizers and good quality seed to use on her farm. She is a visionary who always hopes for the best. She has promised to repay her loan and is very thankful to her lenders for believing in her and making her dreams true.
