Joao's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more chicken, fish and other things to resell at his own food stall.

Joao's story

Joao is 39 years old, married, and has two children. He has a food business that he started in 2015. He has an East-Timor BBQ business (local people call satay) where he sells BBQ chicken, fish, and sausages. Many people visit his food stall every day to buy what he prepares. Running his business has made Joao independent and helped him provide a better life for his family.

He previously borrowed and repaid all of his loan, and now he is requesting another loan of $500 from KIF to improve his food business. Joao plans to use the loan to buy more chicken, fish, and other things to resell at his own food stall. He hopes to have a bigger business in the future and would like to thank the lenders for this opportunity.
