A loan helped to buy a motorcycle for her family's daily needs.

Lyda's story

Lyda, age 39, is married and a lovely mother of one child. She lives with her members located in the far area of Takeo province, Cambodia. She and her husband work very hard to improve the family's living standards. She has been working as a garment worker for more than 3 years and her husband works as a construction worker. Everyday, she and her husband spend on high costs with a taxi service to commute to their workplaces because she and her husband don't have their own motorcycle. She can earn approximately only $6 per day which she will expend on the family's daily needs and for her child's education fees.

Because of the shortage of her finance, she has applied for a loan in the amount of USD 2,000 to buy a motorcycle for the family's daily needs. With this loan support, she can provide a suitable vehicle for members to move or commute to work and can save some money without paying on high costs of a taxi service everyday. The photo was taken with her lovely child at her own house.

She sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help support a poor person like her.
