A loan helped to buy a motorcycle for her family's daily needs.

Chanthorn's story

Chanthorn, age 30, is a married woman and a lovely mother of two children. She lives with her husband and her children located in the far area of Takeo province, Cambodia. She is an experienced farmer, and manages planting and harvesting of rice crops and other agriculture products seasonally. She has to get up early in the morning to go to her farmland by walking because she doesn't have her own motorcycle. Her husband helps her to earn more additional income by working as a construction worker and has to spend high costs everyday on a taxi service to commute to construction sites.

Because of the shortage of her finance, she has applied for a loan in the amount of KHR 6,000,000 to buy a motorcycle for her family's daily needs. With this loan support, she can purchase a new motorcycle for her to go to her farmland, for her husband to commute to his work place without paying high costs, and for carrying her children to go to school and they can save some money.

She sends thanks in advance to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help support a poor person like her.
