A loan helped to pay for landfill to provide a good environment around his house.

Sakhena's story

Sakhena, 27, is married and the lovely father of two little children. He lives with his wife and children in the far distance of Svay Rieng province, Cambodia. He has responsibilities to make sure that he can provide enough food on the table for eating everyday.

Sakhena works as a construction worker and works very hard at the construction site. His wife helps to earn additional income by managing the planting and harvesting of rice crops and other agricultural products seasonally. Both of them can make a net income of only $9 per day, which will pay for the family's daily meals.

Because of a shortage of finances, Sakhena has applied for a loan of 6,000,000 Cambodian riels to pay for landfill to provide a good environment around his house. With this loan support, he can have enough money to pay for landfill to provide a good environment and fresh air and protect his family members from illness and safeguard their health.

He sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help support poor people like him.
