G.s. Linderos1 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers and compost to prepare the land for planting coffee and to take care of it.

G.s. Linderos1 Group's story

José Daniel, 40, is married. He has two children and lives with them in an indigenous community in the municipality of Intibucá.

He has been growing an excellent quality of coffee on his own land for more than eight years. He sells his crop in the local market, from which he earns his own income.

He has requested a loan from the institution as part of a group so he can buy fertilizer and soil amendments to prepare the land for planting coffee and to take care of it. His plan is to continue to expand his crop to get a greater yield and use his profits to support his family.

The group is called G.S. Linderos 1, which is made up of four members who live in the same community and work producing coffee. The group loan is for 45,000 lempiras and they'll use it to plant, fertilize, and expand their coffee crops. The are, from left to right in the photo: Marta, Máximo, Alexander, and José Daniel.
