Sokhkhoin's story

Sokhkhoin is a 37-year-old married woman with one child. She works on a few plots of land growing rice and other agriculture crops to earn a living.

She has been in this occupation for almost 10 years and earns approximately $6 per day.

In each harvest season, local traders in the region often come to the village to buy agriculture products from villagers. Agribusiness is an importance source of income for her family.

Sokhkhoin has requested a loan amounting to USD 1,500 to build a household latrine to improve their sanitation and personal hygiene.

With the loan support, she hopes that everyone in her family can live in a comfortable lifestyle and be encouraged to focus on healthy living conditions, thus safeguarding the health of her family and protecting the environment.

In the future, she aims to increase her farmland to process rice cultivation to earn additional income, and to push her child to continue studying at university.

She says thanks in advance to all lenders for supporting her family.
