Claudia Noemi's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a seed kit (certified seeds, urea, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides) and to pay wages.

Claudia Noemi's story

Tosagua is a productive canton, harvesting cacao, coffee, plantains, corn, among others, and also in ranching where poultry and pigs are raised. It has a well-known cuisine in the area. Its main dish is “chame” [a type of fish] fried and roasted.

Claudia Noema is 35 years old, in a common-law marriage, and has three children, ages 17, 11, and 7, who attend school. Her spouse is a farmer. They live in a house that her father-in-law lends them.

Claudia and her spouse are still planting corn and peanuts, cotton, and squash on some land that they rent and on other family plots. Despite farming being hard, it makes the best days for her family. They take their products to sell to the wholesalers at the market.

With this new loan she will buy a seed kit (certified seeds, urea, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides) and another part is for payment of wages.

Her dream is to have her own house and her own land.
