Plan - Shalon Group's story

Oshin, age 25, is a young woman who attends the university. She lives in a relative's house in the Plann 3000 area of the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia.

Oshin is a hard-worker. She has been working ever since she was very little in order to pay for her education and all of her necessities. We can see Oshin in the photograph wearing charcoal gray shoes and a black t-shirt with white letters.

She currently devotes herself to selling non-alcoholic drinks. For example, she sells fruit juices, shakes, and multi-vitamin juices. She prepares the drinks at her house, and she sells them in an itinerant manner at all of the markets in the area. Oshin has plenty of sales because the markets and the streets in the area are heavily traveled by the population and the climate helps for the people to enjoy a delicious juice.

Oshin requested a loan from Sembrar Sartawi in order to by fruits and basic needs products in order to be able to make her juices because on these festival days the sales increase almost 30 %. She is hoping to generate enough to be able to buy her own house and to have her own place to sell her juices.
