but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her business selling breakfasts and broasted chicken.

Si Guapomo I Group's story

Juana is a member of the communal bank called Si Guapomo I. She’s the mother of 4 children, 2 of whom are at college and 2 of whom are at school. She earns her living selling broasted chicken and breakfasts at the local market.

She gets up at 4 in the morning and, before doing anything else, makes the sign of the cross and prays for a good day.

Juana then goes to the market and sells breakfasts until 12 noon.

She returns home in the afternoon to prepare her chickens which she sells in the evening. She does this with the help of her husband, who helps prepare the children’s dinner.

Juana is grateful for the loans from Pro Mujer and the trust shown in her by the organization.

Juana says her husband is very proud of how they’ve developed their initial business selling breakfasts and expanded it to selling broasted chicken.

Her ambition is to have various premises and employees. Juana and her husband will work hard to support their family and achieve their goals.
