Total loan: $600

Nkubu, Meru County, Kenya / Agriculture

Dorothy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy hybrid fertilizers to improve her crop farm and elevate her standard of living, as well as educate her child through the profits generated.

Dorothy's story

Dorothy is 24 years old and has one child. She lives in Nkubu, a remote area located on a gentle plain before the ascent into the central highlands of Kenya. For the past ten years, Dorothy has been involved in mixed farming. Her primary source of income has been selling goats, and a variety of food crops. These ventures have allowed her to earn a decent income.

Dorothy is requesting a loan to buy fertilizers to expand her crop farm. Having gone through training on loan management, she is educated on how to use the loan and save more money. Through this loan, Dorothy will generate enough income to take care of the farming costs and expand her tea business to international markets. She will also pay tuition fees for her child in school.

Consider lending to Dorothy, who won’t let you down and will fully repay the loan. She is very thankful in advance for your contribution and understanding. Support this humble mother ahead of International Women’s Day.
