Lourdes's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy feed and vitamins for her pigs.

Lourdes's story

Lourdes is a 42-year-old farmer from Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. She is single and happily living with her family.

To make a living, she has been engaged in raising pigs for almost 21 years. Lourdes has been a reliable client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI), Inc. for about six years. Her previous loan was used for the maintenance of her piggery business. According to her, the income she received was very helpful to her family.

She has been granted again a loan request amounting to 30,000 PHP under the agricultural loan program of ASKI with their support. Her loan will be used to buy feed and vitamins for her pigs.

Lourdes is looking forward to the expansion of her business. She hopes that with the help of ASKI and the Kiva funders, her piggery will expand.
