The San José Cha community bank, as part of the San Miguel agency, is made up of 10 members who are all friends.

The group is led by their president, Patricia. She is 39 years old, has 2 children, and she currently sells food on the weekends in the Antofagasta market.

The loan taken out will be for growing the business by buying portable stoves, large pots, and to rent a space, growing the business which will help her family and generate more resources to support the family economically.

Patricia's aspirations are to have her own restaurant.
