Together Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy one ton of rebar and 60 sheets of metal to sell, which will boost her initial capital.

Together Group's story

Bernadette is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and president of the Together solidarity group. She is married, 50 years old and the mother of seven children, including five who attend school and two who are already on their own. Her husband is an aid worker.

She sells hardware products, a business she started five years ago with startup funds she was given by her husband. Later, she became involved in the Hekima program to support her business and she has since gradually developed. With this new loan, she is going to buy one ton of rebar and 60 sheets of metal wholesale, which will boost her initial capital. Her business does not present any challenges.

Bernadette wants her children to go to school and to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to unbankable business owners.
