A loan helped to buy monkey bread, bissap, and sugar to prepare fruit juice and custard.

08-Nguindir Group's story

This banc villageois was created in December 2011. It includes 15 women who live in the same village. They are united and run their businesses with energy. Madame Bintou, who is raising her hand on the photo, is the group’s representative. She is 63 years old, married, and has eight children. She also cares for two additional children. She runs a small retail business.

She will use this new loan to buy monkey bread (the fruit of the baobab), bissap (dried hibiscus flowers used to make juice), and sugar. She will make fruit juice and custard. She will use the profits to save and to renew her inventory.
