A loan helped to buy new fishing nets and also mulberry for her tapa making business.

Henilieta's story

Henilieta is 47 years old. She has five children and her husband is a fisherman. She runs a fishing and tapa making business, where her husband does the fishing and she sells the fish.

She also joins a group of women in their village, and together they make tapa cloths of different sizes and types. Henilieta sells her tapas online to friends and random people who might like it.

For their fishing business, her husband does not only catch fish, but he also collects some other seafood such as sea cucumber and sea urchins. Henilieta sells them all at the fish market. Their business is growing, and they are planning on including more business and hiring more workers.

Henilieta is hoping to use her loan money to buy new fishing nets and also mulberry for her tapa making business.
