Nelly's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy high-quality certified seeds and fertilizer in order to improve production, generate more income and improve her quality of life as a single mother.

Nelly's story

Nelly, a 43-year-old, single mother of three children, has always used the little she has to the greatest benefit. Today, she is able to meet the demands of her family, which makes her a respected woman in her village in the Eldoret region of Kenya. With very few resources, she has pulled through.

Nelly is a dairy and maize farmer. She gets help with the farm from her family members. Her work brings home important income.

It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited available resources to expand their farm business. Nevertheless, Nelly is seeking a 90,000 KES loan to pay for farm inputs and laborers to cultivate more crops on the farm.

With your help, she will be able to pay the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion.

A significant portion of Nelly’s profits will be invested back into her farm, not only to fuel growth but to set a good example and foundation for her children as well. She really hopes for your help and contribution, and she thanks you in advance.
