Tama'a's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy mulberry bark for her tapa cloth-making business.

Tama'a's story

This is Tama'a. She is 41 years old, married and has six children living at home, some of whom still attend school and some whom have already finished school. They all live together at their own home.
Tama'a has joined a group of women in her village for a business that involves making tapa cloth. This requires many people to work together. The group makes tapa at Tama'a's house once a week, while they have the rest of the week for other chores and preparing soft bark for the next round of fabrication. Tama'a sells her tapa cloths at the local market. She is hoping to use her loan money to buy more mulberry bark for her tapa making business. Tama'a wishes to keep her business running so that she can save money for doing necessary renovations on her house.
