Unyenyekevu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy second-hand shoes at wholesale.

Unyenyekevu Group's story

Georgette is a client of the micro-finance institution Hekima and the president of the banque villageois "Unyenyekevu." She is married, 45 years old, and a mother of five children, who are all in school. Her partner is a carpenter.

Georgette sells second-hand shoes, a business she started in 2006 with funds she received from her husband. Later, she joined Hekima to support her business, which is gradually developing. With this new loan, she is going to buy second-hand shoes at wholesale, which will increase her initial capital.

One challenge she faces is a lack of stock.

Georgette would like it if her children went to school and she could renovate her house.

Finally, she thanks Hekima and their partners for their support to business owners who lack access to banking services.

[As a note] the clients prefer to be with their children in the photo.
