but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped purchase fresh fruit to sell.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

This is a group named Mujeres Emprendedoras - Enterprising Women - made up, as their name says, of enterprising women who fight for a higher standard of living for their loved ones. Their chosen goal is to be able to grow, not only economically but also as human beings. Additionally, they are part of a program to eliminate poverty.
Nilda is one of them, selling fruit on foot. She notes that her work is very demanding, but she does it to provide her loved ones with a better standard of living. Nilda is a very giving person who has not let difficulties get the better of her.
She is requesting this loan to purchase fresh fruit to sell. This will enable her to continue with her sales and satisfy her clients, as she is doing currently. She is grateful for the opportunity she is getting to continue her work and be a part of this group.
Note: the child in this photo is the child of one of the committee members who signed the loan.
