A loan helped to buy heifers to expand her herd and increase sales of organic milk.

Cholpon's story

Cholpon, age 42, is married and has a daughter and a son. She has a higher education, and she works at a regional tax office. She is hardworking, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well-acquainted with the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and is capable of investing resources for their intended purpose. She has been engaged in animal husbandry since 2001 as an additional source of income for her family. Thanks to Cholpon's hard work and responsible work approach, she has been able to develop her farm to include 10 sheep and three horses.

In order to further develop her farm, Cholpon applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy heifers, with the goal of increasing sales of organic milk and increasing her income from raising livestock. Cholpon plans to invest profits from the loan in the further development of her farm.
