Rose's story

Meet 42-year- old Rose from Liberia. She is a single mother with 1 child who is 15 years old, lives at home while in school. Rose went to school up to college. She deals in a business selling sugar, soap, vita, rice and red oil. She sells Monday through Saturday. She uses car to transport supplies to her business site. She learned how to sell from her mother and started the business with her own earnings. She has had this business for 12 years now. She requested this loan from Brac Liberia and KIVA Field Partner to purchase more sugar, soap, vita, rice and red oil to sell and increase her business. She likes her business because it sales are profitable and her is proud of her business because it sends her child to school. In the future, Rose wants to build her house and send her child to college. She says thanks and gives appreciation to Brac and the Kiva community for their support.
